Family Caregiver Alliance (FCA)

FCA support and assists families and caregivers through education, advocacy and services. In addition to providing training to technical assistance to California’s Caregiver Resource Centers, FCA hosts the National Center on Caregiving (NCC). Home and Community Based Alternatives Program

Utah’s Home and Community Based Alternatives program is a non-Medicaid program that provides personal care in the home. This program allows certain family members, excluding spouses, to be hired and paid as the personal care provider. Services may include:

– Adult day services

– Respite

– Personal emergency response system

Utah’s New Choices Waiver is a Medicaid program that allows certain family members, excluding spouses and legal guardians, to be hired and paid as the personal care provider. Services may include:
